Evan Fein - Untranslatable (Violin Sonata No. 1), Op. 23

$24.95

I befriended the talented composer Evan Fein at the Cleveland Institute of Music several eons ago, and was taken with his ability to conjure personality, location, and innovation in each of his works. In 2017, I asked Evan to write a sonata that could fit on any program, that captured elements of my personality (a nail-biter!), and one attractive to all audiences. He succeeded on all counts. Simply put, "Untranslatable" is the 21st century answer to Samuel Barber's works for violin and piano.
